Louise Pooley - President
Louise Pooley is originally from England and started her career in accounting in the early nineties. Over fifteen years and a trans-continental move later, Louise is the President of her own accounting firm here in the US.

In the intervening years between taking her first accounting position and starting her own company, Louise graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Missouri - St Louis and finished her MBA in Accounting in 2009. She is a member of the American Society of Women Accountants and The Association of Home-Based Women Entrepreneurs. Louise uses her combination of academic excellence and years of practical experience with small businesses and non-profits, both here and abroad, to provide quality accounting services to her clients. She feels that every organization, no matter how small, needs to have good accounting practices and records so that they can track their profitability, manage their business and minimize their taxes.
Earl Freiermuth - Senior Accountant
Earl earned his B.S. degree in Accounting from Maryville University. He has over twenty years of advanced accounting and management experience, and has served as Treasurer of a non-profit organization for 5 years in St. Louis. Earl believes very strongly in properly training personnel to effectively use their accounting software, as well as thorough documentation to ensure the integrity of the financial statements being presented. Earl looks forward to helping Pooley Accounting Services provide a personal touch to its clients and will service the St. Louis and St. Charles areas.
Jane Lischer - Senior Bookkeeper
Jane has over 20 years experience as a paralegal and bookkeeper. Jane was born and raised in St. Louis and just recently moved back after living in Maui, Hawaii for over 16 years where she had her own small bookkeeping business. She is fluent in QuickBooks®, Microsoft Word and Excel. Jane is happy to be close to family and friends once again and is excited about the opportunity to help Pooley Accounting Services with their bookkeeping needs.
Mariah Echele - Senior Accountant
Mariah Echele brings 18 years' accounting experience in the roles of Vice President-Administration, Controller & Business Manager from companies that specialized in international event production and digital publishing as well as a non-profit, private golf club organization. During this time, she had oversight for financial recordkeeping and reporting, personnel & benefits administration and office operations. Preceding this move to the private industry, she was a licensed, practicing CPA for six years in the public accounting industry, conducting audits and reviews as well as preparing corporate and individual tax returns. Mariah received her BSBA in Accounting from Rockhurst College (now University).
Kristy King - Executive Assistant
For more than 25 years, Kristy King has been honing her administrative and executive support skills by working with high-level management at prestigious companies in St. Louis, Missouri, Bellevue, Washington and Daniel Island, South Carolina. She earned an Associates Degree in Business Administration. Kristy recently started Virtual America Administrative Solutions LLC, a St. Louis-based Virtual Assisting business, in an effort to take the skills she has and support the efforts of the small, start-up and non-profit organizations. Kristy is excited to be on the Pooley Accounting Services team and is looking forward to utilizing her areas of expertise to help Pooley Accounting Services grow and prosper.
